This zodiac character is from the Magical Child series that portrays the Aquarius Waterbearer is a happy little alien from another planet, who is pouring out stars and stardust from his urn. If he's from "way out there," well, so are you at times. And you probably like being unique and unconventional.

Your penchant for being unconventional can take many and varied forms, and how strongly it shows in your personality can vary according to whether Aquarius is your dominant sign, or if (for example) other signficant planets or points might be in the neighboring sign of Capricorn, which is noted for being conventional. Still the Sun sign is important—it’s how you shine—so if you’ve thought that somehow you just don’t quite fit in with the general run of others around you, that’s your Aquarian nature coming through.

You’re an independent type who needs to be free to go your own way. You chafe under rules or restrictions imposed by others, and can sometimes be quite willing to break them. At the same time, a sense of personal integrity is important to you. While you are willing to take a risk, you’re not inclined to be rash about it. Your element is air, not fire, and air is logical. You’ll think through what you want to do, such that you will both know and be able to articulate quite well WHY you are challenging the expected norm. Your mode (quality of action) is fixed, which means that once you’ve adopted a new point of view, you can be quite persistent, even stubborn, about your advocacy of it. You are likely to participate—or take the lead–in new perspectives that can help change the world for the better and become part of major paradigm shifts.

Jupiter is in Leo for your Aquarius birthday in 2015. This “great benefic” will be at 20 Leo retrograde when Aquarius birthdays begin on January 20. The direct station of Jupiter is at 13 Leo on April 6. The "great benefic" then moves steadily forward through the rest of Leo until moving into Virgo on August 11.

Leo is your solar House 7, the house of your close one-to-one relationships or a partner. If you are looking for a time to get married, or to form any type of partnership, this is a good transit for it. If you are already married or in a partnership, the two of you should flow easily with each other and be more often than not in agreement. You can grow through your such significant relationships. Share your ideals with each other. Mutual respect, fairness and equality in relationships are especially important now.

Saturn is at 3 Sagittarius when Aquarius birthdays begin in 2015. Sagittarius is generally a "soft" or harmonious aspect with Aquarius, and is the sign of your solar 11th house of friendship and group relationships. It is a time when you can and should share your ideas, your knowledge and your abilities with others, particularly with the groups with which you associate. Lead when it is appropriate, but do not seek to dominate. It is the group's goals that matter the most now, rather than your own personal achievements. Take on what you reasonably can, and do your part to build the team. Take the lead when the situation calls for it. Stretch! You can learn a great deal in the process. If, on the other hand, this period seems disappointing in some way, then examine what isn't working and learn from it. Make a solid contribution to team effort and take on work that must be done. Concentrate on making disciplined steps toward your goals. If your methods are good ones, you can make solid progress during this transit.

Display an attitude of openness toward others, and respect their freedom, but at the same time, it is important to hold onto your own ideas and stick up for them with honor, if and when the situation calls on you to do so.

Uranus, the planetary ruler of your Sun sign, is in Aries for this entire solar year, as it was last year. This is your solar 3rd house, and Aries is a harmonious sign relationship to Aquarius. House 3 is about routines of your daily environment, and how you think and communicate. If your day-to-day life is fairly predictable and comfortable, then expect that some things you’ve taken for granted in your daily life could change, perhaps suddenly. If so, try not to be upset about it. Instead, flow with it! If you are flexible and open to new people, new experiences and new ideas, you’re likely to find that these years of transiting Uranus to be interesting and even exciting. The more you open yourself to new ideas and possibilities the more you will grow—and the more fun you can have, too.

The themes of Uranus can't be taken alone, though, while the square of Uranus and Pluto continues. This year there are two exact squares. The first is April 21 at 13 degrees, and the second is Dec. 15 at 12 degrees. Much has been written about this square that is exact 7 times between mid 2012 and March of 2015, and it has been and likely will continue to be cited in regard to international tensions. So, be sure to read about transiting Pluto, too. The basic principle of Uranus-Pluto combines the sudden and unexpected of Uranus with the transformative change and upheaval that is Pluto. Of course some such changes can—and have been—looked back on as very positive, even when they were anticipated with worry or fear. We are all limited as to what we can do about major changes happening on the national or world stage. As individuals we have power to choose how we will respond. When we flow with change, we can nearly always find a way to make it work out OK for us. So, be open and flexible as you look for opportunity within change, and you are far more likely to make it work out well for you and for those with whom you share your life.

Neptune will continue to be in Pisces throughout your solar year, ranging from 3 degrees to 5. Neptune retrograde at 7 June 9, goes back down to 4 on Nov. 16, then rises to 8 Pisces by the time 2015 Aquarius birthdays begin. Pisces is your solar House 2, the house of money, possessions and personal values. If your work is of a Neptunian nature—creative, artistic —this could be a time when you can make money with it. But, Neptune is rather contrary to the idea of commercialism—its theme includes detachment from such things, This is not to say that you could lack resources during this transit, but this should not be your primary concern. Part of the lesson of Neptune in the 2nd is to learn that true security comes not from what you have, but what you are within—your own personal resources.

A possible challenge of Neptune in solar House 3 could be in learning to combine your imagination, fantasies and dreams with logic and the objective realities of your daily life. It’s best if you can blend these apparent opposites with a balance that has room for both. This might be a good time for you to delve into a metaphysical topic and seek to develop any latent psychic abilities you may have, Whatever you seek to learn now, the presence of Neptune in your 3rd, might mean you learn more intuitively than usual

In anything you do now, do it because it is “right”—and fits your inner or spiritual quest, or fulfills your dreams, or serves an artistic purpose. Then trust that you will have what you need in material necessities to accomplish that work.

Pluto in Capricorn will be transiting your solar House 12 for years to come. Pluto is about transformation, and has a way of purging to the depths of whatever area of life it is transiting. This can be a transit in which whatever aspects of yourself you’ve been hiding or denying can sneak out of the closet where you have to see them, whether you like it or not. What is needed is to understand what is happening, and then if changes within you are called for, face them honestly and do the necessary inner work.

A primary thing about your Pluto transit continues to be the ongoing square of Uranus-Pluto that remains active into 2015. In one way or another this transit relates to transformative change. Pluto is transiting your solar House 12, and as was said above, Uranus is in your solar House 3. This combines how you think and communicate with the more hidden parts of yourself that involve psychological and spiritual issues. it is important to give yourself both the time and the space to look inward. Dreams and intuitions that you can only access in silence, away from the static of a busy life, are especially significant to you now. You are learning self-mastery by testing yourself and your world against your personal vision. Pluto, at best, is about self-mastery. Spiritual work can greatly aid the transformations that are occurring. Your world may not be perfect, but know that you have the power to make it beautiful—at least most of the time.
