Aquarian New Moons are appropriate for breaking new ground. The revolutionary potentials of Aquarius, combining with the focus on new beginnings that New Moons represent, suggests a time for breaking loose from past patterns and moving into new directions.
New Moon, 1 Aquarius 10, Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at 1:06 PM PST.
This New Moon's semi-sextile to Uranus heightens the potential for radical change. It is an appropriate time to plan for a major new step or initiate action that will be ground-breaking or alter old structures. Brainstorming skills should be more accessible. Projects that accent individuality, innovation, invention, and ingenious approaches are favored. This New Moon is particularly significant for people born around January 20-24, April 20-24, July 22-27, or October 23-27.
Mars enters Taurus, Tuesday, February 3, 2004 at 2:05 AM PST.
Stamina is accented for the next month and a half. This can range from sexual stamina to general physical endurance and perseverance. People are more able to hang in and follow through with plans and projects. Sensuality is accented, so be willing to pamper yourself a bit in terms of physical pleasures. A more mental framework emerges when Mars enters Gemini in the third week of March.
Full Moon, 16 Leo 54, Friday, February 6, 2004 at 00:48 AM PST.
Relationship issues are in high focus with a Full Moon. The polarities seeking balance include freedom versus closeness (how much time to spend on your own, doing your own thing versus compromising and sharing with others), equality versus being special (how can you be part of the group and still shine and receive admiration for your noteworthy qualities), and friends or humanity versus children and loved ones (dividing time and energy). Since the Sun is also quincunx Jupiter in nit-picking Virgo, avoiding excessively high expectations or spiritual judgments is advisable. This Full Moon is more significant for people born around August 8-13, November 8-13, February 5-11, or May 6-10.
Mercury enters Aquarius, Friday, February 6, 2004 at 8:21 PM PST.
Thinking becomes more agile and nimble as Mercury moves into Aquarius. People can come up with unique perspectives and may solve problems that were blocked before. An unusual mental approach could prove fruitful. People are likely to challenge assumptions. The new and progressive is more attractive than the old and familiar. Technological training is likely to go well.
Venus enters Aries, Sunday, February 8, 2004 at 8:22 AM PST.
When the planet of love and pleasure enters the sign of adventure and personal desire, things are likely to heat up. The role of hunter (or huntress) has more appeal on the romantic front. People are willing to risk a bit in the pursuit of gratification. In excess, this can denote a “Don Juan” or “Love ‘em and leave ‘em” mentality, but in moderation, it suggests exciting exchanges and relationships in which each person feels vital, alive, and eager to express him or herself.
Sun enters Pisces, Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at 11:51 PM PST.
When the Sun, a key to self-esteem, enters Pisces, we may seek recognition and positive regard through spiritual, artistic, imaginative, or compassionate pursuits. (Less constructively, we may gain the limelight through escapism or rescuer-enabler exchanges.) Creativity is emphasized in the first few days as the Sun conjuncts Uranus (“the Inventor”). We are most likely to shine through activities that emphasize idealism, beauty, or caring for the underdog.
