Virgo New Moons are excellent times for initiating actions to enhance your health or physical well-being. They are also appropriate for beginning any projects that will improve your efficiency on the job or contribute to a more satisfactory working environment.

New Moon, 22 Virgo 06, Tuesday, September 14, 2004 at 7:30 AM PDT.
Now is an auspicious time to begin anything that will contribute to more efficient functioning on the job or in your body. This might involve nutrition, vitamins, analytical skills, organizing abilities, common sense, problem-solving talents, or anything that focuses on improvement. This New Moon could be extra significant for people born around September 14-18, March 12-16, June 11-16, or December 13-17.

Jupiter sesqui-quad Neptune, Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at 2:00 PM PDT.
Challenges in the realm of ideals are highlighted. This is a time to examine beliefs, values, and areas of faith. If we’ve put too much trust in something or someone, we may have to reassess that confidence. If we have been wearing “rose-colored glasses” or have succumbed to delusions of grandeur, we will have to become more pragmatic and sensible. Unreasonable expectations are possible. Keeping our standards reachable is vital.

Sun enters Libra, Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 9:31 AM PDT.
Looking good matters more. Beauty, art, and an attractive appearance move up on the priority list. We may shine through our capacity to please people, garnering recognition or applause for interpersonal skills. Romantic encounters are possible. We may seek more excitement in our partnership(s).

Jupiter enters Libra, Friday, September 24, 2004 at 8:24 PM PDT.
Justice and fair play are emphasized. We will want things to be even. Taking turns matters. Making sure that everyone has his/her say is part of the goal. We will be motivated to give everyone representation, and to have full and complete discussions before decisions are made. Teamwork has strong appeal.

Mars enters Libra, Sunday, September 26, 2004 at 2:17 AM PDT.
When the planet of aggression and warfare enters the sign of other people and diplomacy, we have some balancing to do. We may feel torn between assertion and accommodation, between pleasing ourselves and pleasing other people. We may feel conflicted about wanting to be alone, but also wanting quality time with a partner. We could become more assertive about pursuing beauty, justice, fair play, partnership, or cooperative endeavors.

Full Moon, 5 Aries 45, Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at 6:10 AM PDT.
This Full Moon reiterates the messages of Mars in Libra, asking people to find a happy medium between being alone and being together, between “my way” and “your way,” between a focus on personal desires and a focus on interpersonal needs. Relationships are strongly highlighted now—and relationship homework should be done as well as possible. (Re-tests are harder than the initial ones, usually.) This Full Moon could be extra significant for people born around March 25-30, September 28-October 2, June 26-July 1, or December 27-31.

Mercury enters Libra, Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at 7:14 AM PDT.
The silver-tongued orator enters stage left. With the planet of communication entering the sign of diplomacy, words could be use to soothe and persuade people. Saying the right thing at the right time is likely. People can be kind and tactful in how they use language. (“Little white lies” could also be overdone.) Politicians will do well as fence-sitting and waffling come even more easily than usual.

Venus enters Virgo, Sunday, October 3, 2004 at 10:21 AM PDT.
When the planet of love and pleasure enters the sign of work and nit-picking, we have to be careful lest love become a chore. This combination is excellent for craftsmanship and being practical about relationships. It is also favorable for working with people. In the personal realm, we must take care to not allow a work attitude (critical and flaw-finding) to pervade our romantic and familial relationships. Keep the problem-solving for the material world and not directed toward people.

Jupiter quincunx Uranus, Sunday, October 10, 2004 at 4:08 AM PDT.
Restlessness is on the rise. Two of the three planets of freedom are activating one another. People may feel more antsy, more eager to break out and do something different. This combination also accents the mind and is good for activities that involve going beyond former boundaries, stretching and exploring further (mentally or physically). Old comfort zones are challenged. The drive is for something new—particularly in the realm of education, beliefs, values, or long-term goals.
