Aquarian New Moons are favorable for activities that look toward the future, involve new technology, or encourage progress or humanitarian activities.

New Moon, 20 Aquarius, 16, February 8, 2005 at 2:29 PM PST.

The time is ripe for beginning new projects that accent individuality and inventiveness. Be willing to break the rules. Look for opportunities to gain more freedom or enhance your understanding of new technology. Getting involved with humanitarian pursuits is also possible. This New Moon is particularly relevant for people born around February 9-12, August 11-16, November 11-16, or May 9-14.

Mercury enters Pisces, Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at 9:47 AM PST.

Thinking could get a little fuzzy around the edges. Matters are not so clear. Imagination soars. This is an excellent placement for artistic ideas, beautiful language, and kind-hearted comments. For clarity of speech and precision of details, look somewhere else! Poetic, transcendent, mystical motifs are central in the mental arena (thinking, speech, and writing).

Saturn sesqui-quadrate Uranus, Thursday, February 17, 2005 at 12:00 PM PST.

The old and the new may go head-to-head. Clashes between conventional and unconventional approaches are possible. Rebellion may appeal. Progress could fight against tradition. The urge to take risks upsets the status quo. Ingrained bureaucracies are irritating to those who want to open things up and break through barriers. Look for a happy medium between past and future, something old and something new!

Sun into Pisces, Friday, February 18, 2005 at 5:33 AM PST.

Ego and self-esteem are now more tied to soft, mystical, gentle motifs. We may want to shine through our compassion, our artistic skills, our healing abilities, our sensitivity, or visionary capacities. (Beware! Dramatic martyrdom is also possible.) The urge is to be creative with transcendent, inspired matters. This combination is also excellent for sales, advertising, and promotion.

Full Moon, 5 Virgo 41, Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at 8:55 PM PST.

This polarity calls for us to find a compromise between our idealistic vision of the world (or the way it is in our fantasies) versus the everyday realities of the physical plane. We may feel torn between realism and idealism, between facts and fantasy. On the high side, people can make their dreams real, turning their visions of art, compassion, healing, etc., into material form. This Full Moon is prominent for people born around August 26-30, February 23-27, November 27-December 1, or May 25-29.

Venus enters Pisces, Saturday, February 26, 2005 at 7:08 AM PST.

The planet of love and romance enters the sign of “happily ever after” and fantasy. This can be very romantic and enticing—or people may be “in love with love” and very ungrounded about their relationships. The quest for a perfect, “made in Heaven” relationship and/or partner could lead to disappointment or disillusionment. Savior-victim (co-dependent) entanglements are possible. This combination can be well directed into any kind of artistic or aesthetic activities, or into relationships that focus on mysticism, healing, or other compassionate pursuits.

Mercury enters Aries, Friday, March 4, 2005 at 5:35 PM PST.

The planet of thinking and communication enters the sign known for “shooting from the hip.” Speech becomes more rapid, and sometimes impulsive. Words may be used as weapons—biting, ironic, sarcastic. People can think more quickly and deal well with crises. Comedic reactions (quick repartee) manifest more easily. Patience can be a challenge. Direct, honest, forthright comments will be preferred.
