Each Astrological Mandala is a sequence of lines drawn between the positions of two planets of the Solar System. The positions are calculated at regular intervals from the point of view of either the Sun or another planet.
The Define Mandala dialog lets you change the defining parameters of an Astro Mandala. There are three values that you can change directly: the start date, the interval and the number of steps. There are list boxes for the two planets between which the lines are drawn, and a list box for the center body.
The Colors command on the View menu and the toolbar button let you change the foreground and background colors. The foreground colors determine the colors used to draw the lines. The first line is drawn in the foreground start color, the last line in the foreground end color, and the lines between are shaded from the start color to the end color.
The Bitmap dialog lets you specify the width and height of the bitmap and save it to a file. Bitmaps can be used as is for Windows wallpaper, or converted to a web format picture by many popular graphics applications.
